Font Size:

ESL (English As a Second Language) Teachers, often referred to as TESOL or TEFL, are very much in demand at local academic institutions, community organizations, churches, immigration help centers and other organizations which help the new immigrants. ESL teachers are also being hired by Literacy Councils and organizations dedicated to improving literacy among American adults and youth who are unable to read & write English.

The 12- week Certificate Program and the 1-year Diploma program has been designed to help students with different levels of language or teacher training.  Advance placement and exemptions are available to qualified candidates.

All programs, including Continuing Education programs are available on-line. Credits earned can be transferred for training in many other professions e.g. Business, Health Care, Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences or Language & Cultures.
