The 2010 Census of the United States of America proved what we all have come to know in recent years, that we have become a true mosaic of cultures, languages, religions, foods and social values from around the world.  The 21st century has brought some fundamental global changes. The developing economies are on the way to challenging the traditional social, political & economic powers.

The Multicultural Studies Specialist program is designed to benefit a wide range of Americans. From teachers & social workers to professionals such as lawyers, doctors, non-profit community organizations, to those involved in international trade, foreign students advisors, organizers of cultural exchanges, study abroad programs organizers and those who would like to work, teach or volunteer abroad .

The career as a Multicultural Specialist is challenging and very rewarding. This is a new but exciting field and there is no shortage of jobs for graduates of Multicultural Studies Specialists here in America or around the world. After completing the Certificate or Diploma program, you will have the option of working in a wide range of businesses, including colleges, universities or organizations both at home or overseas. One can also set up your own business as an  independent multicultural consultant. You will be trained for any of these challenges.

All programs, including Continuing Education programs are available on-line. Credits earned can be transferred for training in many other professions e.g. Business, Health Care, Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences or Language & Cultures.New classes start in January, April, July and October.  Accelerated programs, credits for previous studies, scholarships, student loans and easy monthly payment facilities are available. Additional, non-credit courses, can be had for $5.00 per hour, based on availability. Please refer to DII school catalog or contact the Registrar for more information.

Cost for 8-hours CPR & First Aid mandatory course  is included.
